On this week's The Kaufman Show, Dave and Jay speak with Kimmy Bloemers Carter, daughter of the late Gary Carter, about Tuesday's street renaming ceremony in honour of The Kid. We also spoke with John Vergados, founder of the Ron Piche Quebec Senior Baseball League, about their charity game at Gary Carter Park in Ahuntsic that will pit an all star team featuring Bill Lee against the Wrentham (Mass.) Warriors, who will have former Major Leaguer Oil Can Boyd on the mound. Admission is $5, all money raised will go to support Boston charities and people affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. What a busy show! Tonight we were joined off the top of the show by Toronto Blue Jays General Manager Alex Anthopoulos, to discuss his team on the eve of the 2013 season. Then, we were joined in studio by Mike Spry from TheBarnstormer.com, author Dave McGimpsey, and sociology professor Avi Goldberg. The three were so much fun we wouldn't let them leave.
